Mikaela Karimi is a diverse artist and designer known for her sculptures, fashion design and publications within craft and technology. She started her career in the fashion scene but has since 2019 focused on sculpture, craft and technology. She is currently based in Tyresö, Sweden

​

Her sculptures investigates the relationship of the human body to society, feminism and motherhood. Karimi continually tries to identify the space of sculpture as a place of becoming in which new thoughts and feelings can be expressed and take form.
